   The Greek muse of Astronomy and Astrology. Her eye was to the future, and she was the inspiration for oracles, soothsayers, and prophets. Her two children were great musicians; Linus son of Apollo, and Hymnaeus daughter of Dionysus.

Urania is often pictured holding a globe and compasses.
