Her back arched and she drew a sharp intake of breath. Elven ears were sensitive, after all. Once she ascertained no one was paying any mind to them--people at the bar were engrossed in conversation, the couples on the dance floor still danced though there was no music--she decided to get even.
Stirring in his lap as if trying to find a more comfortable position, she leaned over, stretched for a goblet of wine and took a sip. Still bent over the table, she peered at him over her shoulder innocently before bringing herself and the goblet into an upright position again.
"Oh, did you want some?" She lifted the cup, her brows rising ever so slightly with the lilt in her voice.
