"Thank you," Rhagi said, and seated himself on the stool next to her. He leaned neither towards nor away from her, and his faceted green eyes showed little emotion as he regarded her face. They were a still point in all the chaos around them, largely generated by his cousins.
"I was curious," he said frankly. "It's a family trait. Also I find it's best to get distracted by something before my parents start full-on making out all over the floor. Are you just passing through? Looking for something?"
