The'ara nodded and smiled. She might have had a rebuttal in her somewhere, but... not while gazing up into those glorious eyes. Handsome men were always her weakness and Chezlar was gorgeous, stunning. The longer she gazed into his eyes, the more she felt drawn into them. It was like staring into a whorl of golden stars and she felt their gravitational pull. Her heart sped up and a breath fell out of her before she made herself look away and take another sip of wine.
Clearing her throat, she shifted in her seat, knowing she stared far too long. She didn't want to come across as one of those creepy, clingy types. It was just that he was a work of art that she wanted to bask in for awhile longer. Goodness knows how long he'd be here for her to stare upon. That thought made her a little sad. She managed to smile through it, though.
"Do you enjoy your line of work? I mean, forget for a moment the work has to be done and I suppose it's your *fate* to carry it through... Is this a profession you would have chosen for yourself? Are you happy?"
