She slipped her hand in his and led them back to their table. There was an extra skip to her step. She had to bite her lip to keep from grinning like a fool and was glad he couldn't see her face. Sliding into her former seat, she crossed her arms, but her demeanor was still a playful one.
"I have a confession to make. I'm still not sure what to make of your claims. Lord of Time, Messenger of Fate? Sounds a bit... far-fetched. But, I do want to understand and I think I'm... actually ready to listen now."
