"Muddy?" She glanced down at herself, revealing her face to the woman speaking to her. Eyes of pale purple flashed in the dim inn light and tanned skin showed a few wrinkles of age. She was not a young woman, that much was evident.
"Oh," she said as she noticed the state of her cloak. "Bog Orcs have a habit of trying to drag their pray into their den pits. It's also the same place they store their coins, so if one wishes to profit from attacking them, one has to get dirty." She tapped on the coin purse still sat upon the bar, hoping the barkeep would notice and get her the damn ale.
"I am Adrianna... Adrianna The Spoon," she said, offering her hand to the woman before her. Her hand was as muddied as the bottom of her cloak. She rubbed her fingers together and then withdrew the offer of a handshake. Pretty ladies who liked their fellow inn patrons to be clean, would not wish to shake such a dirty hand.
