"It is indeed an Inn in the middle of nowhere," Chez confirmed. "Galain over there," he pointed the the Elen about to square off with the squirrel, "is a run away Prince. That silver band on his arm marks him as the heir to Alcarinque. He owns this place, lives here instead of in the city he will rule someday."
He turned back to The'ara and watched her enjoying her stew. "This place is a way station. People from all over just magically appear and find a purpose." He nodded toward An'Thaya. "The Amazon Queen found her way here centuries ago while fleeing her tyranical uncle. Galain helped her save her people... and fell in love with her somewhere along the way."
He pointed nodded toward Ghet. "Ghetsuhm found her way here sometime later running from a painful past and became entangled in the entire Alcarin/D'Riel saga. She was, apparently, doomed to fall in love with the Amazon's brother, Y'Roden.
"Helen came too, fleeing from the psi corp that was using her to their own ends. They all have a purpose. Even Jerri." He referred to the cook. "Her necklace transports her where ever the universe needs her to be."
His eyes settled on to the garnet-eyed elf once more. "You though.. I cannot see where you are from... nor can I see where you are going."
