At her husband's words, Ghet moved her hand deliberately down onto Chez's bottom and gave it a loving squeeze. Her eyes sparkled at Y'Roden. "But I'm terrible! Chez said, and I can't argue with him. So I had to leave you out there to preserve my reputation. Bitch at your son, he's supposed to be nice."
Rhagi took a seat and some wine and settled in to watch his uncle Galain and the squirrel. It should be an entertainingly close fight. "I can't think where I could have got 'nice' from."
Without missing a beat, Ghet turned to the newcomer, her face all grace and compassion. "Hello. I'm Ghet, this is my husband Y'Roden and our eldest, Rhagi. I was lost here once. So was Helen over there." She waved cheerily at the Mars table. "If you have to be lost, this is a good place for it. Although... not many of us manage to find our way home again. We make a new home."
