Helen was trying to ignore the sensations coming from Ghet's direction since Y'Roden had appeared. She was aware that the other Psi was very much trying to keep a lid on it, and projected gratitude in her direction, but the undercurrent was still there and it was... well. She wasn't exactly squirming on her bar stool but it was close.
And, lordy could she see what the other woman meant about tall dark and dangerous - the newcomer was not someone she'd like to meet down a dark alley on her own. He too had the almost blank presence An'Thaya had, and again it was rather refreshing for the telepath to not have to actively avoid trying to read someone.
Poor Jerri, on the other hand, was an open book of confusion and a myriad of other emotions and thoughts she was actively mitigating against because reading someone, even someone who was an open book telepathically speaking, was just rude.
She grinned at Galain, leaning over to pinch a sucker from the jar. "Yup, all set, thank you."
The strawberry blonde grinned at Y'Roden then. "That squirrel made a mess of blondie here," She laughed, gesturing at Galain with her lolipop before popping it in her mouth. She'd worry about money and everything later. Right now there was coffee and sugar and everything was good.
