Many years down the line, Helen would be asked exactly how she ended up on the other side of the universe, slap bang in the middle of several Elven families. She always said the same thing - sheer panic.
It was that panic that had lead her to teleport blind, something she'd later beat people over the head about being a very bad idea and to never ever do, but as it was - having discovered she was once again pregnant and that the man she thought was her friend and confidante was actually her jailor - she jumped.
Her first thought, upon ending up in a strawberry-blonde heap on the taproom floor of the Inn, was rather random.
"Is that coffee I can smell?"
Celtic eyes peeked out from under a mass of curls toward the source of the scent, and she blinked repeatedly at the redhead, peering at unfamiliar script on the mug. Her second thought, beyond holy heck I'm alive, was just as inane.
"I think I'm a long way from Kansas. And I appear to have lost Toto."
It was quite possible Helen was still working some of the suppressant drugs out of her system. That or shock was kicking in.
