The proprietor's tone was inviting and she returned a smile that reached her dazzling emerald green eyes. which Derelie was sure lit up at the sight of her dagger. She took a seat close enough to talk without straining her voice and plunked her gear on the floor. Her harp she rested gently against the table leg and then took sip of coffee.
She took another sip, then gulped the rest down. She was buzzing now and words started pouring out of her mouth almost faster than she could think.
"Pleased to meet you, An'Thaya. I'll gladly tell stories, sing songs, and I'm no stranger to hard work, though probably better at all three when my belly is full. I also have a few coins. Is that venison I smell? I've been on the road a year and a day, give or take a few. Another coffee would be great. I don't suppose you have any honey."
