He could feel her tense in his lap. Vashir was calm; he sensed no hostile intent from the messenger, he rested his hand on the table just in case. After she was through reading the letter He picked up nothing from her thoughts, her emotions were too scattered to sort. It had to be about her mother. Nor did he want to read over her shoulder.
"This news is troubling?" He searched his own memories. Nope, never been to Regendale, Haven't even heard of it.
"Should we prepare to leave sooner?" He reminded himself that acts of comfort or reassurance were an insult in her culture so he settled with that of alliance
"I will go where this leads us and help however I can, so long as you want my help."
