To Zig, she said, "Vashir found out some news about my mother. She's indeed headed to Alcarinque. So I say we stay the night here and head out in the morning."
She then turned her attention to Vashir. For a moment, she thought about leaving him be. It seemed the polite thing to do. But just as quickly, she knew he should not take her threats lightly.
"You were warned." In a quick, sideways motion, she was suddenly in Vashir's lap. Stabbing and slicing up the pink meat on his plate, she brought a fork full up to the seam in his collar. "Some ham for my ham?"
Two of her chains grew and whipped out, wrapping up them both, before their hooks anchored to the legs of their chair.
