She let her eyes rove over him. He wasn't unattractive. The fact that he could feel emotional pain--even for the briefest of moments--lent him an allure he didn't have prior. It wasn't just because she had a sadistic nature, either. That brief window into his sadness added a layer of realism to him. His mask slipped and she was intrigued.
She wanted to ask who hurt him and why. Not necessarily to heal, but because she wanted to understand. Or perhaps to take notes. With her, it was hard to say.
