Riker's never closed, which made Rivgo wonder why he seemed to have spent so much time opening it over the years. Even out here, in the middle of nowhere with no natural light source, there were times it felt like early evening, and times it felt like the depths of four in the morning.
Fortunately, this was one of the former, and even more fortunately, there appeared to be no sign of his boss. Life had been more than a little difficult around Marius lately.
There were a few people scattered around drinking, and employees working both the stage and the tables. No obvious signs of trouble this early.
Then he watched a dark-haired man with a decided swagger walk into the bar and wondered if he'd made that call a mite too soon. "Welcome to Riker's. What can I get you?"
