"Thanks Rhys," Helen said softly, rather loath to let go of his hand. Times of insecurity tended to bring out her need for tactile contact more, the reassurance brought from touch combinbed with her empathy grounded her.
"Thinking about it," She continued, "It might be better to patch her up in S'Hea," The Mars matriarch gestured toward her unconcious daughter. "The last person who went at her with a medical scanner ended up eating it. There's only so much of her memory of... then... we can bury without taking her personality with it. And yes, I'm aware that sometimes that seems like a good thing."
