Helen's eyes widened further - any more and they would probably leave their sockets. "Okay, now this is just starting to smell bad. What... What happened. You said she disappeared, and we both know Anaya isn't the type to just walk away." That was more her twins domain. "I can see her jumping out of the situation, but not without the children, and I can feel them. This is just all kinds of messed up."
In control enough to manage some tactile contact, she reached out and squeezed Rhys' hand briefly. She didn't intend to keep him out of the conversation, but too many peices of the puzzle were clicking into place, and the more she thought about it, the more the tattoo burned.
"Semel doesn't like this line of thinking. Good. That makes me think she knows something about this." Blasted Gods, always screwing around with things, she thought to herself. "Blast it all, its not like I can walk in there and demand to know what she's playing at. Rach might be an option, but if she's not talking to me I'll have to go through Yarwin."
