Ares chuckled warmly. "I've had facial hair since I was in my late teens, and beards are always an ambigious feature. It all depends on how they're worn."
Nodding he scooped up a handful of nuts from the bowl Aarien placed between them, popping a couple into his mouth. Their saltiness would help to dampen down the buzz floating through his system.
"I always wondered what attracted my parents to one another, but their marriage was a strong one. After my father died during a job my mother never re-married. You've got to have a strong stomach if you choose medicine as a profession."
He chewed on the last of the nuts held in his palm, arching a brow slightly.
"S'Hean and Elen? Don't think I've ever heard of them before."
