"A bounty hunter?" Aarien's face lit with interest. "That sounds like it's never dull, at least. As long as you're not here to work. My A'ma would not be happy."
She winced. There it was: she'd already blown her cover and she hadn't even needed Rivgo's help. "My mother kind of owns this place. I was just here to... use the facilities. There's a woman here, Briony... Anyway. I don't have a job. When my brother was my age A'ma sent him off to Fleet Academy, but that's so not me." An unusually thoughtful look came into Aarien's eyes. "I wouldn't mind working here for a bit. I'd like to be doing something useful."
